I had an angiogram on my heart at Wigan Infirmary, the staff in the catheter unit were all really good.
I was very nervous and the nurse (Sandra) reassured me really well and explained the procedure. People could not get a needle into my arm so they called a young X-ray man who was said to be very good and he got it in straight away and was equally as pleasant and helpful as the nurses.
The doctor was very nice too and did the procedure really quickly. I am a nervous person and nobody lost their temper with me asking hundreds of questions. Thank you everyone for making a scared lady into a reassured one.
