About: Wrightington Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I had a hip replacement 10 days ago. From admission to discharge the care l received was wonderful. It was reassuring to meet the surgeon before the operation and talk through the procedure. All went well and l was back on B ward in time for a sandwich and cup of tea ! The nursing staff were so kind and helpful. The physio’s soon had me moving which was fairly pain free due to medication being administered as needed.

The catering staff were very bright and cheerful and l enjoyed the food.

I am now doing pretty well at home.
