As someone who has worked in the NHS and have been a patient of the practice for 24 yearsI am both dismayed and disgusted on how the GP treats it’s patients.

Trying to see a GP you trust can take three weeks plus. It says something about the practice when Doctors don’t stay!

My daughter is a severe asthmatic and had a review with the GP only a month ago, however, she has been refused her asthma medication until she sees a healthcare assistant who at the best will be a band 3? How will they know more than the asthma specialist and the GP. Telling a asthma sufferer that you are going to withhold their medication can bring on a severe attack which will end up costing the NHS thousands! !

The recently changed their telephone system, as before it could take over 50+ calls to get through, although saying that I’ve just tried to ring and no on hold? No automated system just a busy signal? Have they taken the phones off the hook?

Like others I would say this surgery was the best surgery in west hull but no more. Patients are being treated like numbers and tick boxes instead being given quality care.
