What I liked

We choose Homerton Hospital for the birth of our baby boy in October. We had excellent services during the pregnancy. Following birth our baby was unfortunately taken very ill and we were in Homerton Special Care Baby Unit for seven weeks. I cannot praise the care we had highly enough and am very grateful to the staff in SCBU for their care and support. I am pleased to say our baby is now back with us at home thanks to the care he had. Staff were supportive and professional and have to deal with very stressful situations.

What could be improved

My only areas where there could be some improvement would be in the facilities for parents especially mothers that need to stay in with their babies (they are currently better than they used to be but still put parents in a very stressful situations) and in liason with other organisations. Overall I though I hope other parents do not need to use it they should have confidence in the care they would get for their children.
