"Small cyst removal by nurse practitioner"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Dermatology

(as a service user),

All the staff were really good at putting me at ease as  I am quite nervous of needles. David the nurse practitioner who did the procedure was as gentle as he could be and kept the chat going with lighthearted things that kept my mind off what i was getting done.

Pamela held my hand lol and was lovely chatting to me. There was another nurse present too who was equally as good. I don't remember her name.

Thank you very much for sharing your experience. We value any feedback.

I am delighted you appreciated the chat, it was a deliberate attempt to distract you from what we're up to, although it makes our day more pleasant as well. Injections are not fun for anyone and we appreciate how nervous they can make people.

Hopefully everything is progressing as planned and you are healing well.

Thanks again

David
