Went to NELFT for low level MH support but referred to secondary care. This was 2 years ago. In between saw ASD team who ignored all medical diagnosis such as dyspraxia, Auditory Processing and sensory issues and report is stuck with them and still not treatment started with secondary care. The assessment stated 1: 1 best but that was late last year when I finally got assessment. Still waiting and it's now August. They have been rude and aggressive when I've called asking for help, one service manager at Melmead House in particular insinuated that I was stupid to expect a 'single point of access' or for teams to talk to each other despite being same organisation in same very small building!!
It triggers my MH to contact again. I'm hoping my GP will refer elsewhere.
