I am so grateful that I can now walk again without pain. Although they said I should be on painkillers for maybe 4 weeks, I was able to give up after one week. I was able to drive confidently after one week. I would like to send her my brief "diary of recovery", if someone will get in touch by e-mail. Thanks

What could be improved

There appeared to be confusion about the medication I brought with me and the nursing staff did not consult me about this. As a result I left the medication at the hospital.
