I am a director of an Allied Health company in
Australia and a Physiotherapist.
My 79 year old mother was admitted to East Surrey Hospital.
The local GP failed to manage the problem and my father had no option but to call the ambulance. She was admitted and treated at East Surrey, the medical staff were amazing. She was diagnosed with a Staph infection in her spine.
She was admitted to the orthopaedic ward and looked after by a registrar.
I live in Australia and was next of kin, I was able to speak with the Doctor who reassured me and gave me regular updates about my mothers treatment and progress.
I thank East Surrey for employing such wonderful staff across the board, nurses. phyisio etc.
I was a long way from my mum but felt she was in the best place possible and receiving the best care.
Many thanks East Surrey
Claire
