After months of suffering in silence I have now decided to highlight the inefficiency of your pharmacy which is adjacent to the Scartho Medical Centre in Grimsby.

There are several items on my prescription but, on numerous occasions, at least one product is either out of stock or not fully available.

The main reason for my complaint, however, is the lack of any system in place and staff, who are always courteous and obliging, can be seen scurrying around like headless chickens searching for your package.

When they find it, it then has to be checked causing substantial delay.

This is understandable for the many who bring prescriptions in from the surgery next door and elect to wait, but I always bring my repeat prescriptions in on a Monday and collect on the following Friday.

Because of the Easter break, on this occasion I called to collect on Thursday 29th March, still affording 72 hours for processing but again it was not ready and I was asked to wait.

To add insult to injury, whilst I was waiting a lady who came in from the surgery next door after I had sat down, had her prescription processed before me.

When a second lady who arrived after me was then called, I got up and complained at the counter.

I was then served next but after a wait of approximately 30 minutes.

I am complaining because this is not an isolated incident.

In the past I have been given the excuse that my prescription was late being returned from the surgery only to find when I get home that your own label on the product was dated on the day that I lodged the prescription.

On this occasion the labels on my items were all dated 26th March!

This Pharmacy is crying out for some management skills.

In over 40 years in business I have not previously encountered such a low level of competency.
