I was admitted as an overnight patient to have a major operation on my back. It was performed magnificently. At 66, it was my first experience of staying over in hospital for an operation. I was treated with the best care a patient could possibly wish for from start to finish by all staff that I had contact with.
My experience was entirely reassuring. Receptionists, nursing staff, kitchen staff, anaesthetists, consultant surgeon and physiotherapist were all as helpful and caring as they could possibly have been. Even the cleaner was friendly. If I've left anyone out, they need to be included.
I'll always remember the excellent treatment I received.
Many thanks to all at the hospital.
