My daughter was in severe abdominal pain and was sent by her local doctor to A & E only to be diagnosed with ulcerative colilis. The staff on all wards were brilliant, very considerate especially when I wanted to stay with her. I feel across the experience the doctors have been forthcoming and answered all the questions I've had. Only a small request of a better handover between wards. My daughters treatment ended as she left AU and wasn't continued ( I feel) soon enough which lead to a small remission in her health. As soon as treatment through fluids and steroids was re established she picked up. For any mother seeing her child suffering and knowing there is nothing you can do yourself to fix it is heartbreaking. I cannot thank the staff enough for their patience and time in making my daughter and I feel better.
