"Recent Hospital Experience"

About: Victoria Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I was admitted to The Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy Fife ward 44 with a flare up of Crohns. I cannot praise and forever be in the debt of the NHS staff from the ambulance paramedics, cleaners, auxiliaries, nurses, doctors, consultants, everyone involved in my care. This care was administered in a professional way that incorporated toughness, patience, humour, high levels of information and understanding.

It is evident the ward is understaffed but this in no way detracted from the care that was given.

A big thank you to everyone and in the nicest possible way I hope it is a long time or even never that I meet the team of ward 44 again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of your hospital stay with us.

I am really pleased to hear that all the staff you met during your stay helped put you at ease and attended to all your needs promptly.

On behalf of my Senior Charge Nurse, Katie Black and all the staff on Ward 44, I hope you have a long remission period from your crohns. I will pass on your thanks to the team and will share this will them. They will be very proud on hearing how their hard work has made you feel. Thank you again for taking this time to share this with us.

Kind regards

Donna
