My daughter fell from her horse, landed on her neck/head,ended up in A&E on what you would expect to be a quiet Sunday afternoon.
It was not quiet, it is unbelievable the amount of people needing attention for all sorts of injuries etc.
And during all this from the paramedics to the nurses, consultants and doctors and, porters, how they all go about their jobs so professionally and with so much compassion and patience is unbelievable, oh and a smile on their faces!
Yes everything took a while because it was Sunday and it was very busy, and an acute shortage of beds, but the consultant would not let my daughter go home, after xrays and scans etc came back ok, as she was not right on her feet,. and a bed was found..
We cant thank them enough for the the service they are providing at A&E @ the BGH
