"Felt I was getting the best care"

As my gallbladder removal surgery was very short notice (I got a cancellation)I arrived for my surgery feeling very scared and anxious. The nurses were so kind and helped me feel calmer. I liked the way everyone introduced themselves and I felt comfortable asking them questions. Waking in recovery I was in terrible pain but the nurse quickly administered pain relief. I was transferred to the short stay ward on the bed. All the staff who worked on the ward were brilliant. My stats were checked regularly so I felt I was getting the best care.
