After my pre surgery assessment which was very thorough & pleasant, I was admitted to Queen Margaret Day Hospital on for removal of a fairly large Lipoma on my back. The admission Nurses were very friendly but professional & all documentation was carried out efficiently & easily. My consultation with The Anaesthetist, was again friendly & professional, I was able to relay my fears re anaesthesia & was re assured in every way & felt at ease. Whilst in the anti room, The Anaesthetist was again very gentle & ensured that I was placed in a position that was comfortable for me. When taken back to the ward the Consultant Surgeon visited & informed me of the procedure he carried out.
all Theatre & Ward Staff were kindness personified & being a retired nurse of practicing for 45 years I so appreciated the complete professionalism given to me. In this year of the 70th anniversary of the NHS I commend all who worked & work in the NHS. I myself have immense pride in my profession. Thank you all.
