Had 3 appointments regarding a lump on my face. Was given a course of antibiotics twice which had no effect other than to upset my stomach and prolong a cold/cough I had. On the third visit, was given nothing but told would refer to a dermatologist to see what course of action. After ringing twice the following day - the second time getting told by a receptionist that a secretary would probably do it and didn’t know when (couldn’t care less attitude) - was rung back by the doctor who had seen me the last time to be told that in the clinic meeting, it had been decided by them to wait a further 6 weeks to see if it changed. After explaining I didn’t want to wait the 6 weeks as the lump was very noticeable and embarrassing, I was told that it was decided by them it was the best course of action! It might be for them who don’t have it, but not for me!
