"Visit on Monday 13th August 2018"

About: Rochdale Infirmary / Accident and emergency

I visited the a&e department Monday morning for some medical attention. When I first saw the doctor I felt very awkward, I visited with my wife and the doctor was making jokes about being there and the current situation in which I ended up in hospital, he was making remarks about having a boyfriend and then questioning who the woman was who was with me when I told him it was my wife he proceeded to say oh well I just put my foot in it didn't I.

I dont see why any of this was relevant on a visit to the hospital . His general manner came across as very full on and not appropriate for the situation.
