I have been an RGN for over 30 years and worked in hospitals for nearly 35 years. My good friend and brother in law had an major haemorrhage and is currently on the ventilator in itu. He is not out of the wood yet but is stable and has a good fighting chance due to fantastic medical and nursing care which he has received from his gp paramedics accident and emergency endoscopy theatre and itu staff at Basingstoke Hospital. Both my sister and i have been hugely impressed by the wonderful professional care which he in currently receiving. the stahdard of communication and helpfulness by all staff that we have had contact with has been truly outstanding. Hopefully the outcome will be good but whatever happens we will remain grateful to this incredible team. Based on our current experience i have no hesitation in recommending this magnificant hospital. We will be writing to the CEO in due course to thank the hospital directly.
