"Excellent, friendly and supportive care at every turn"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

I had foot surgery on both feet at Hairmyres in the Day Surgery Unit. The care that I received was truly excellent. The staff were caring, supportive, explained everything and kept me comfortable from start to finish.   The nursing/ODP, anaesthetic and surgical staff were excellent. I saw and heard excellent, friendly and supportive care at every turn. Thanks so much for looking after me so well, just as I expected.

Thank you for taking time to post on care opinion. I am delighted to hear that you have had such a positive experience during your recent visit to University Hospital Hairmyres Day Surgery Department.

It is often an anxious time for patients when they are waiting to have their procedure carried out and our staff work very hard at relieving this anxiety and putting patients at ease.
