"Unexpected Stay"

I visited A & E to have a stuck Catheter removed, there was a problem and it required an overnight stay in hospital which developed into three nights.

I am a carer for my wife who has Dementia, so outside carers were quickly arranged by my daughter who lives in Cardiff.

The quick decision time and care provided was amazing (Crossroads Care), the Doctors and staff of KEMERTON Ward were informed of my predicament and they done their utmost to ensure my quick return home, they also informed me daily how my wife was.

The professional care, treatment and advice received was excellent, and the Doctor went out of his way to provided the treatment and operation that was required without affecting the scheduled patients. I was more than impressed, at 88 yrs. old, luckily it was my first overnight stay in Hospital. Don't moan about the NHS staff they are working under trying conditions and restrictions, they have my respect and admiration, Thank you one and all,

ps. My car was in the car park, they even sorted that out as well, so I didn't pick up a ticket.
