"Excellent, wonderful"

I visited Cardiology Department in Area 3 section 2 with my grand-mother who had an appointment with one of the consultants this week. As a nurse myself within another Trust I must say the experience was totally wonderful. We were greeted by two professional, enthusiastic nurses and it was a wonderful feeling being there.

They made us feel so so welcomed and explained everything to us before we went to meet with the consultants. The ECG girls were absolutely wonderful, they were mindful of my nan's privacy and dignity.

We were then brought to another waiting area, unfortunately we had to wait awhile but it was okay because we had each other to speak with. But what was very very thoughtful was the Health Care Assistant, not only was she so so pleasant but she was so thoughtful by offering all the patients water to drink. Not only was the weather hot, but I have never seen such thoughtfulness in a waiting area and I thought she was such a star.

QE you have done us so proud and I would like to say Thank You so very much for all you have done for my nan and for employing these wonderful thoughtful nurses.
