"The staff do not look professional"

(as a relative),

My partner is attending the Cardiology clinic. Apart from the fact it has taken a complaint to get the ball rolling, I find the staff in this department and in general these days in the hospital - act swiftly and do not look in the least professional. I had a friend who nursed here for many years and she was meticulous about her uniform but nowadays staff don't even look like they've brushed their hair, ironed their clothes or polished their shoes.

I am proud of our NHS - so should the people who work in it be!!

P.S Staff blowing their noses in the waiting room  - not good!

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback on here. Firstly, I am sorry to learn that it took for a complaint to get the ball rolling for your partner to be seen in our Cardiology clinic. I will share your comments with the team so that they can reflect on your partner's experience and where possible make changes to their current processes to stop this happening again in future to other patients.

I will also share your feedback regarding our staff not looking professional or taking pride in the appearance of their uniform with our Deputy Chief Nurse so that she can look into this in more detail.
