"A Great Team In Cardiac Rehab"

After completing an 8 week Cardiac Rehabilitation Course at the NHS Center on Badsley Moore Lane in Rotherham yesterday, I just have to write and thank the team for their commitment to their patients and the program they run. 10/10.

The eight week course itself is a fantastic opportunity to meet people who share similar health problems as yourself with the same goal to manage and improve the the quality of your fitness and lifestyle with simple and enjoyable exercise, giving you basic knowledge of your own boundaries and capabilities in a safe and very controlled environment. 10/10.

After having Heart Bypass surgery and additional Stent Procedure I have been left with an unstable condition which leaves me prone to angina attacks. I found myself disillusioned as to the way forward into some form of exercise.

After a thorough consultation with Glynne Burgess, I was accepted and started the course just a few weeks later.

I received a very warm welcome from Jackie Smith who ran the classes with Glynne. They have a rare quality of being able to retain the professional level of training while keeping the fun and enjoyment element, working us as a group and also giving great one to one advice and encouragement. 10/10.

I would also like to thank Katie Taylor who went out of her way to find information on some medication issues I had. This was help that I never asked for but simply something that Katie picked up on in conversation. Again 10/10.

This excellent team really do need some recognition for the hard work and commitment they show,and are a great asset to the NHS.
