Just wish to thank the Eye Department for their great care in dealing with my son's numerous eye problems. We originally presented to A&E and then transferred to the Eye Department where it was discovered my son had a number of issues with his eyes. Everything was explained to us and a number of tests carried out. We went home with a bag full of eye drops and medication. The consultant ophthalmologist was so kind and explained everything clearly both to my son and I.
She was not in the least bit phased by my son's monosyllabic responses to her questions (due to his autism - or indeed just a typical teenage reply!) and treated my son with dignity - much appreciated by my son. The nursing staff are lovely as are the opticians when testing by son's eye sight. Thanks again for all your support and treatment with an eye problem that my son and I were initially very worried about but is now resolved.
