"Cardiac team in Maidstone hospital are..."

I came into Maidstone hospital at the beginning of the year having been diagnosed with a heart condition and I have to say that each appointment I’ve attended, I have been treated so well.

All the staff have been so incredibly kind and extremely efficient. I had a day case EPS study on the 17/5/18 and I can’t thank the team enough in the day. The nurses in the ward were so thoughtful and considerate as I was the only female patient in the ward and they made every effort to give me space away from the rest of the male patients in the ward on the day. They could see I was absolutely petrified about my operation and they did everything to make me feel as relaxed as possible and had me laughing throughout my morning waiting to go in for my op. They made every patient feel so at ease. THANK YOU ladies, if it hadn’t been for you I probably would not have coped as well as I did. You were all phenomenal!!!

I also want to thank the theater team who were as kind and compassionate. They all took the time to help me feel as at ease as possible during the procedure.

My consultant I can’t thank enough. He’s kept me informed from beginning to end and hash’s always been so empathetic and kind.

Although I’ve been diagnosed with a heart condition which has been very difficult to deal with, I am so grateful to the teams who’ve supported me through this process so far. You are all such amazing people.
