"Ward 203"

About: University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust

After many months of terrible pain, appointments and disappointments my Mum spent two days on Ward 203 whilst she underwent an operation to remove a cyst from her spine. She was so pleased with the care from every single member of staff who attended her on the ward, on the way to theatre and in theatre. They were kind, respectful and professional.

My Dad and I also found those on reception and in Costa similarly helpful .A special thank you to the man in carparking who organised refunding some of our parking expenses. It's worth noting that if you're parking at the hospital for longer than a few hours, don't park in the short stay near the entrance or you could get charged £25!

I can't tell you how wonderful it has been to see the agony stoically born these last few months diasappear and be replaced by a radiance and happiness in someone who now seems 20 years younger. 82 is the new 62!!
