on a very hot day at end of July, my husband went to A&E with shoulder and upper chest pain, he was booked in by reception and details taken by nurse.
He then had ecg in triage plus blood testsand off to see doctor, then on to X-ray he was diagnosed with angina and admitted to assessment ward. The angina turned out to be a heart attack, eventually ending in the Cardiotherasic Ward awaiting an angiography with stents.
Throughout this journey through the hospital he was treated with kindness and professionalism.
The meals were good.
The communications were good too.
He even had free telephone calls from a phone by his bed.
He is recovering well all thanks to the nurses, doctors, and all the other staff.
Thanks to them all he is now looking forward to getting back to normal.
Well done NHS
