"Excellent care for breast cancer"

I was treated for breast cancer, hormone therapy and surgery.

Every member of staff I came across, receptionists, radiologist, radiographer, breast care nurses and surgeons, treated me with great kindness and even good humour. I have always felt that I was seen as an individual and not just another patient in a busy clinic, and was fully informed about my cancer. The surgeons took time to explain my options so that I was able to make informed decisions.

This is the NHS at its best.
