I only just visited Chase Farm myself yesterday (urgent Care) and was so impressed by the service that I lfelt the need to leave a good review. Now today, my daughter was told by her GP to go to Chase Farm walk-in service for a chest X-ray and an ECG.
She had bloods taken a week ago at Chase, which we booked online.....so easy. I must add that when we got to the phlebotomy dept. we checked her in ourselves on the self check-in screen and she was called in immediately and bang on time! Anyway, test results came back to her GP within a week and he told her to get a chest x-ray and an ECG done.
We turned up at Cardiology dept. at about 10:30 and my daughter had her ECG done and dusted within about 10 mins. Only afterwards, we realised that the ECG walk-in service wasn’t supposed to be open until 2pm (on a Friday) but they had just done it anyway.
We then went to X-ray dept. and again, she was seen immediately. All in all, everything was done in less than 45 mins and all staff were friendly and efficient, including porters who stopped to ask if we were lost and gave directions.
I honestly can’t believe some people here who have left such negative reviews. The NHS is fantastic and all my latest experiences at Chase Farm have been excellent.
"Very Impressed (yet again) by walk-in services"
