"I am very thankful"

About: Frome Community Hospital

(as the patient),

During the past few months I have had physiotherapy  at the Frome hospital. Shiva, the therapist, has been very helpful. we started with 1:1 sessions and then progressed to group sessions, I found these very reassuring knowing that there are other people who have the same or similar problems, it helped to not feel so isolated.

I had a hip operation several years ago which did not go so well, this has affected my gait and, more recently, led to falls. Because of this my GP at the Beckington Family Practice referred me for physiotherapy. My gait is still not brilliant but it has improved for which I am very thankful.

Thank you for leaving this lovely feedback about your physiotherapist, Shiva.

I'm really glad to hear that the service has helped you improve. It is especially good to hear that you found the group sessions helpful and have found it useful meeting people in a similar situation to you.

I've passed your story onto Emma, the service manager, and asked her to pass it onto Shiva along with your thanks.

Take care and you know where we are if you need us in the future.

Best wishes,

LUCY
