About: Croydon University Hospital

What I liked

I arrived in A&E with chest pains ands was seem immediatey,I was them moved onto the Medical Assessment Unit after after ECGs and medication. From here I weas moved to the CCU where I spent a couple of days.

I found the staff couldnt do enough for you and what really impressed me was the way they treated elderly patients nothing was too much trouble, as soon as they buzzed someone was there. When their food arrived there was a nurse helping them to eat if they needed help.

They also had time to have a little chat with patients.

In my three days in hospital on different wards, A&E etc, I had no complaints at all and all the staff were really lovely and caring.

What could be improved

One thing is just the noise levels at night not in the CCU but in the MAU but I dont know how this could be dealt with as there is a constang moving of patients in and out of the Unit.

Thank you for your kind comments which have been passed onto the cardiac and emergency care teams. Noise at night is an issue on some of our wards and we are looking at ways to reduce this wherever we can.
