I arrived at the Hospital early as i always have trouble trying to find a car parking space, which i have come to expect. I arrived for my appointment early booked myself in,all the staff were nice to me and carried out the relevant procedures. The Consultant called me in i smiled and said hello.
The consultant asked why I was there. I replied that I had received a letter asking me to come. The consultant asked me what medication I was on. Thinking I was being helpful I gave the consultant my list. The consultant said that they didn't want it and that it didn't interest them. I then proceeded to hand the consultant a form in an envelope that my Doctor had asked to have signed by the consultant. The consultant looked at it and said that it was a waist of time and that my Doctor could have done this. I replied that I just did what I was told. To that remark the consultant replied lets not make wavesI was then asked various questions concerning my illness and told with the problems I am having should see a different Consultant. I cannot believe how I was spoken to. I have had this disability since I was a child and I am now in my fifties. I have lost all faith and feel helpless. I never go to the Hospital unless I really have too, I feel this nasty experience has confirmed everything.
"Consultant rude to me"
