"I feel like it's been issue after issue"

We can't believe how bad the service we feel we have received from this practice is. My fiance and I moved to Stirling some months ago we were assigned to Viewfield surgery. I feel like it has been issue after issue. We have had a difficult time getting through on the phone most of the time, it once took us both phoning for over half an hour (total of 97 phone calls) to get through to get an appointment. We have found the reception staff we have dealt with rude and ignorant. We feel like they (reception staff) try to tell you whether you are ill or not in order to get a same day appointment (my fiance is disabled; chronic back pain and other symptoms from a prolapsed disc), and I do not feel it is their place to do so. They are NOT qualified.

After having his doctor notes sent across from the previous practice, all his repeat medication was only given out 2 weekly... Every monday, he has to phone to order some of his medications for a doctor to eventually okay them, and he can pick them up by the friday. They claim that FV cannot issue monthly repeat presciptions, but we've had them from FV hospital, and we've had them from our previous surgery.

My fiance had an appointment with a doctor to discuss his medication. He was told that half of the medications he has been on for the last 2 years are useless and he should be coming off them. The doctor asked my fiance how his pain was and because he said a 9/10 ( his muscles were sore and his back was in more pain than normal) the doctor has turned round and said that the pain medication he is on isn't working. We feel like it is, otherwise my fiance wouldn't be able to get out of bed. And when my fiance mentioned this, the doctor said that he should just find another doctor's surgery. We feel like a doctor should be trying to treat you and look after your health. We have to wait another month before we can request to be moved to another doctor's surgery. I am fed up of dealing with this surgery.
