"Day Surgery Unit"

About: Royal Surrey County Hospital / General surgery

I was admitted to the Day Surgery Unit recently for an investigation under general anaesthetic.

Every member of staff was very helpful, pleasant and polite and explained in detail what was to happen.

I have nothing but respect for all of them.

. .

The other aspect that was a pleasant surprise was how good modern anaesthetics are.

Immediately drifting off with no problems and waking up with no headaches or hangover.

So different from many years ago.
