About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a relative),

Sadly my aunt passed away whilst being cared for in 3E Crosshouse.

Domestics, auxillaries, Hca's, Nurses, Deputy charge nurse, SCN, doctors ALL played a huge part in her excellent care.

Very attentive not only to my aunt but also to her relatives. 

Always felt like you had time for us even when it was clear how busy you were!

A fantastic team of professionals who should be highly praised!

Firstly, on behalf of all the team in 3E please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved aunt. Taking the time to post your feedback at such a difficult time is very much appreciated. It is great to hear you found the care to be excellent by all the team members. There is no doubt it takes every member of the team to work together to get it right.

We very much recognise how difficult it is for families when their relatives are in hospital. As well as getting the technical aspects right it is equally important that we demonstrate care, empathy and compassion to both the patient and family. We strive to deliver person-centered care and this absolutely has to involve the family. I am delighted that you found this and felt supported during this real difficult time.

All staff in 3E will be delighted to read your lovely feedback and our thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.
