"I tough experience made worse"

About: Liverpool Womens Hospital

Whilst pregnant with my first baby I started bleeding and was sent from Aintree hospital to the women's emergency room to get a scan to see if there was still a heart beat, waited 2 hours to be told that I wouldn't be scanned as they don't have the facility over the weekend (it was Friday) and that the first date for me to be scanned would be there following Tuesday! Why are women being left for 4 days not knowing if their baby is alive or not? Ended up paying to have a private scan on Saturday as waiting was killing me and my partner (also the women's doctor that we spoke to advised that we could do this as she herself knew it was ridiculous that they didn't have the facility to scan us then and there)
