What I liked
i attended A & E with a suspected neck injury and was suitably and thoroughly immobilized while this was investigated using both xray and later scans also , great care was taken when i had to be moved for any reason
What could be improved
my only issue was that once i was waiting to be moved to other areas and scan results were being checked etc i was taken out of the cubicle and put in the middle of the majors dept. being strapped down and able only to see the ceiling meant that i was aware of people going around me all the time but was unable to move or see, this i found quite frightening . thankfully it turned out to be a minor stretched nerve and i was very grateful that such precautions had been taken . i spent the rest of the night in EDU and was treated very well . my only 'complaint' would be that although i understood the pressure for cubicles a great deal of anxiety could have been avoided by leaving me somewhere quieter
"professional and caring"
