"Thanks for the daily hard work and compassionate care"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Cardiology University Hospital Hairmyres / Radiology

(as the patient),

I recently attended Hairmyres for an unidentified ailment.

Under the care of Dr Logue I was looked after over two days by a number of doctors, nurses, radiographers (Lee), cardiology technicians (Gary, Joanne, Annette & Karen) and laboratory staff (Blood analysis).

My thanks to all staff involved in my care from the Ward 2 support staff and porters to  Dr Logue and the medical staff in ED who cared for me and on behalf of all the patients who are unable to give their thanks for the daily hard work and compassionate care provided.

Dear JFH

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience and express your thanks to individual staff members that made a difference to your care. I am delighted to read that you all staff provided compassionate care. It is humbling to read that you would like to express your thanks to all staff as you recognise that it takes a team effort to ensure tests, examinations and care is expertly provided. I will share your comments with the different teams.

Thank you again for sharing your comments. I hope that you are recovering well.

Best Wishes

Lise
