"Day surgery"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital / General surgery

I had day surgery with general anaesthetic today (7th Aug) and all staff from receptionists to nurses to doctors and anybody else could not have been more kind or helpful (plus the chicken sandwich was delicious!). More information about the 'day care unit' online would be really useful if possible, but I wanted to thank you for your professionalism and care.

Mrs K Gardiner, Head of Nursing would like to thank you for the kind comments made with regards to the staff and treatment within the Day Care Service at QE.

The team are indeed consistently kind and professional.

A review of the way Day care functions is currently underway and when complete new information will be added to out website, many thanks for suggesting this approach.
