"Breastfeeding support"

About: Aboyne Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

I ventured out for the first time with my new son after my health visitor suggesting it to the Aboyne breastfeeding group where I was met by a lovely bunch of ladies who totally put me at ease breastfeeding in public. They were able to answer any questions I had and gave me some tips on positioning to improve my latch. I can see my breastfeeding journey continuing for a long time thanks to the group.

Dear Newbreastfeedingmummy,

Thank you for sharing your positive story with us, it’s lovely to hear that the group really helped your breastfeeding confidence and shows just how important support is when we are new to any experience – hopefully your post will encourage other new mums in the same situation to go along to the group too.

I’ve shared your comments with the Health Visiting Team in Aboyne and they have promised to let the support group know too.

Thanks again and best wishes to you and your new son!’

Kirsten
