What I liked
I stayed for a approx. one week on the Bonnington Ward before sadly being transfer to the Labour Ward to deliver a baby at 21 weeks. All of the staff were fantastic and treated myself, husband and family with such care, calmness and empathy. Before what I call the 'event' I was worried about dignity issues as I'm so body conscience but I have need not have worried. I will always be grateful for the care and dedication I received.
What could be improved
I have no comments in relation to the actual wards or the staff. The only comment I have relates to the TV/Radio/Internet console patients pay for. I'm willing to pay for a luxury service if it fit for purpose, however, the internet service was shockingly slow. It took over 10mins to load half of the BBC news page. Initially I only paid for the service so I could log onto my personal email service to let people know that I had been admitted, therefore, it was disappointing to be unable to do this at a stressful time.
Anything else?
I do have further comments in relation to what happens after a late miscarriage, however, I don't believe that this the correct place to air them for fear of upsetting anyone that has been through a similar situation.
