About: Conquest Hospital

Visited Conquest hospital todsy for an xray, arrived at 08.10, conflicting signs as to opening time of department. 08.00 and 08.30. Stood waiting to check in whilst staff members behind the desk chatted amongst selves and one clearly on her mobile phone. When finally wss acknowledged no good morning was offered or sorry for delay. On the positive side radiology staff cheerful, pleasant and introduced selves. Reception staff should take note .

Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback about your recent experience of care in the Radiology Department at Conquest Hospital; it is very much appreciated. The Trust strives to provide patients with a high standard of care and whilst it is reassuring to read this was your experience of the clinical staff in the Radiology Department, it is disappointing that this was tainted by the attitude of the reception staff. Please accept our apologies for any unnecessary concern or distress caused by the way you were treated by reception staff.

We will share your feedback with the management team in Radiology so that they can share good practice with staff, and identify areas for improvement. We are grateful to you for giving us an opportunity to reflect on the care the Radiology Department provides to patients, and wish you all the very best in your future health and well-being.
