"Waiting for an appointment"

About: Birmingham Midland Eye Centre (Bmec)

I was sent to the eye centre the day after whitsun bank holiday Monday with a lesion on my eye and was seen by several people who were extremely efficient and lovely . I was told I would receive an appointment within their target of 6 weeks however I am still waiting for an appointment and when I called today was told I was on a waiting list as it had only been 5 weeks but it has actually been 10 weeks so I am a little disappointed. I know they do a fantastic job and work extremely hard but I really need to get this sorted soon. I guess I just have to wait until they send me an appointment.
