I attended the minor injuries unit this morning with a swollen and painful hand. I was seen very soon after arrival and I was treated by a very pleasant and reassuring nurse. I have never, fortunately, had cause to attend a hospital before and was a bit anxious that I was wasting the staff’s time with a sore hand but the nurse couldn’t have been nicer, reassuring me and conducting a thorough examination of my injury and giving advice re treatment. I was very impressed by my visit today, NHS and it’s staff are second to none.
