After my operation to remove a cyst from my upper arm that went very well and i was l very pleased at the way i was treated .I was placed in Jackson Burrows ward all staff were very friendly .However after my one night i was told i would be ready to go not long after 11.00 after all checks e.t.c My reply was thank you very much as my wife was coming to pick me up from Winchester all went well all check's done just paperwork to sign and catular removed from hand .All dressed ready to go phoned wife to pick me up 2 hour drive.11 30 asked how we doing told won't be long ok. I still haven't had catular removed now 12.00 i asked can some one remove my catular please from hand won't be long ok . This went on for another 3 hours . I will point out at this stage that it was only one member of your staff that was treating me like this, why i don't know , im sure it was the nurse in charge ( didn't get her name )by now patients in the ward were making comments on how i was treated by this one person and how long i had been waiting .Wife asked at desk to the same person can you just give us a time please told your husband has been told ya .Not true very upsetting (And i must say it wasn't busy in the ward) .At about 4 The pharmacy came in the ward dealing with another patient when he had finished i asked can you help please his reply still here told him the what has been going on he said i sorry for what has happened you only needed paracetamol and dihydrocodeine i will try and sort it out. Thank you with that, then action catular removed medication arrived papers signed all done not far off clap from other patients .Anyway thank you to all other staff a Jackson Burrows ward for all you have done ( one very unprofessional member of staff will not tarnish the way the rest of the staff treated me )
Thank you Mr Michael Stride
