My father was recently admitted for care on Alton ward. He was in your care for almost two weeks. All the family visited him many times and I must say we all felt very welcome on the ward. As a family we were astounded by the level of care dad received from all the staff from the nursing practitioner down to the wonderful ladies the kept the ward so immaculately clean. The staff welcomed us with a smile and a hug if we needed one, we felt they were there for us as well as dad. We cannot thank and praise them enough. The team really are a credit to the national health service and the local community. Unfortunately the day after dad left Aston ward to move into a nursing home dad passed away. I would like to thank all on Alton ward for making dad's final two weeks so peaceful and happy. Our family think you are all Angels.
