My mum passed away not long ago. The last moments of her life were on care of the elderly ward with me beside her holding her hand very tight telling how much I love her. She was weak and frail and I cried like I never cried before. Tears are still there, now that I write this but I need to write this.
Her last moments were with dignity and also with great care not just for her but also
for me. At one point we were planning for her to go home but it wasn’t meant to be.
My grief is immense she was my world but on the other hand I am happy that when she left me she was cared for well.
Thank you to the nurses for sharing my pain, thank you for doctors giving me hope, thank you to the stoma nurse for being so kind and thank you to the senior nurse who wears black uniform for just being human. I was torn and to hear it’s ok you are doing a good gave me strength to keep going.
I am very grateful to you all thank you all again.
"My mum"
