Experiencing episodes of passing out the Paramedic arrived who immediately attached heart monitoring equipment to the chest, this then reorded the next passing out , the record of this was immediately emailed to the A&E for analysis, the Paramedic was excellent and very reassuring. The two Ambulance Crew soon arrived and as they put me in the Chair they witnessed another passing out, as they did in the Ambulance, all this information was emailed to the Hospital so when I arrived they new exactly what the problem was.All the Doctors and Staff introduced themselves and explained their purpose in the system ( all very polite and respectful to me ). once a team was assembled I was taken to have a temporary Pacemaker fitted in the groin, once again all the staff introduced themselves and were very profesional in all their actions . Having suceesfully attached the device I was taken to CCU WARD and had to stay in one position without moving for 48 hours. The care I received during this time was excellent as I was fed and watered totally by the kindest nursing staff they went far and beyond their remit which made me feel reassured that I was going to recover. On the Monday I was given a Pacemaker now recovering at home, eternally grateful to all the STAFF at KGH FOR CARE THAT WAS SECOND TO NONE
THANKYOU
