I really don't think this system works at all. It is very hard to get a GP appointment. I find it totally ridiculous that you need to wait for a phone call from the doctor for them to decide whether to see you or not. How can you diagnosed over the phone. It really doesn't work for the working people. My daughter had suspected glandular fever. She is a uni student. They wouldn't treat her as a temporary patient so I had to register her as a PERMINATE patient which now effect her care back where she is going to uni. We still never got to actually see a doctor. Minor injuries,nurs,blood test. What was the point?

I am sorry to hear you have experienced problems.

An initial call with a GP does help with a lot of conditions or advice that can b dealt with over the phone.

We also find a lot of patients find not having to come into the practice really helpful.

It is always difficult to respond to individual cases on this forum so please do contact the practice if you wish to discuss this further.

Our FAQ and you said we did advice on our website may also be worth reading, as it may help you to access the system more effectively via online booking or via evening pre booked appointments if you require.
