"Chaotic & stressful"

About: Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust

The department is a very stressful and chaotic place to be. I’ve been getting treatments for retinopathy but have decided to discharge myself from the clinic before finishing my course of treatments. The treatment itself wasn’t explained very well and post op care nonexistent. I spoke to the dept. secretary who came across as passive aggressive and uncaring. For such intriquite surgeries, it’s a very slap dash, in & out service. Also, you have to sign something which basically waives your right to any consistency in treatments. As they dilated my pupils I wasn’t able to see what I was signing but was obliged too so did.

Hello

Thank you for leaving feedback on NHS Choices, I am concerned by the experience you relate.

However, the nature of NHS Choices is that I am unable to track down individual care episodes.

If you wish me to look into this further please email me at richardchester@nhs.net

With kind Regards

Richard
